Faces of Wellness
We’re celebrating Albertans who are everyday champions for wellness in their communities.

Are you a face of wellness in your community?
Alberta Blue Cross® recognizes Albertans who are taking steps towards living healthier lives. If you or someone you know is promoting a health-related cause, making the most of life while living with a chronic condition or being a role model for others, we want to hear from you.
Every face has a story
Who can apply?
The Faces of Wellness award is open to legal residents of Alberta who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Apply yourself or nominate someone whose wellness journey has inspired you.
Sharing your own story can be hard. But that decision to open up could help someone take their first step towards wellness.
Or, if someone else’s journey has inspired you, nominating them is a way to pass that inspiration forward.
Apply or nominate someone
You’ll need to complete an application form and provide the following information:
- A true story that showcases courage to face challenges and stay committed to wellness
- Examples of how the entrant lives a life of wellness and regularly encourages others to do the same
- Examples of the positive impact they’ve had on their community, workplace or circle
Do include a photo or a short video that captures the spirit of the journey.
The application form will guide you based on whether you’re sharing your story or nominating someone else. Either way, we can’t wait to hear an inspiring wellness story.
